It is a fantastic day out for both participants and spectators as teams of 11 to 20 take to the River Severn in 40ft long Viking Dragon Boats. Teams can take part on either the Saturday or Sunday by registering at severnhospice.org.uk

The festival sets up on Beck’s Field between Shrewsbury School and the Pengwern Boat Club. Spectators can enjoy the view for free from Shrewsbury Quarry whilst cheering on their favourite team!
